Stay in a cabin or camp just behind Margaret River
Riverview Caravan Park & Cabins are only minutes from the centre of the Margaret River township, sitting right on the river itself.
The tourist park is quite compact and mainly made up of dozens of short-stay cabins, some of which have unspoiled views directly down to Margaret River that are only a short distance back from the river bank. At the back of park is an area for caravans, most of which have ensuite bathrooms, then a bunch of very tight campsites for tents and small vans.
There’s a lot of shade and bright green grass around the camping area, making it a clean and comfortable place to stay that’s just a short distance from the bars, restaurants and shops.

The Riverview Tourist Park is very neat and clean with well maintained facilities.
There’s a walking trail that goes along both sides of the river with several bridges. You can follow one of the trails all of the way into town, otherwise it’s a couple of minutes drive or 1km walk along the roads to reach the main street and shopping district.
It’s a good, central location for exploring Margaret River and the surrounding area. If you’re interested in a bit more space at a bush campground, consider heading to the stunning Chapman Pool Campground, which is about 20-25 minutes out of town.

Getting to Caravan Park from the centre of Margaret River
The caravan park is very close to the centre of Margaret River, right beside the river – it’s very easy to find.
If you’re on the main road that goes through town (Bussell Highway), one block down from the round about that’s on top of the hill (or a block up from the small round about at the junction) is Willmott Avenue.
Turn down Willmott Avenue and you’re almost there. Drive past the Woolworths and over the hill, after a kilometre from the main road, you’ll see the Riverview Tourist Park sign and entrance on your left.
