Sisal, Natural Fibre Soap Pouch
Product Eco Rating
Agave Sisalana, also known as Sisal, is a plant that’s native to Central America, although it’s grown and harvested in many countries. It has a natural fibre that can be cultivated, turned into rope or string and then used to wide range of products.
Sisal fibres are quite strong and durable compared to most other natural, plant-based fibres.
The typical harvesting process involves putting the Sisal leaves through a machine press that crushes them and creates pulp from the fibres. The pulp is machine or naturally dried. From the dried pulp, it’s quite easy to then create durable products out of.
These Sisal Soap Pouches are 100% biodegradable and come in recyclable packaging.
