The Walnut handle on top of the Camping Kettle is FSC Certified with every part of the process of milling the timber has been checked along the way to ensure it’s been done is a responsible way. This has slightly increased this products overall Material Eco Rating, although the process of creating the Porcelain Enamel coating on the Steel creates toxic chemicals, yet in recent years new methods have been created to recycle these byproducts. Being made from hardwood, depending on how much use this product has had, the handle can be either recycled or it’ll naturally decompose in time once buried.
