Heavy duty Oilskin Canvas Poncho that’s made by Spanish artisans using high quality 100% cotton canvas with a Linseed and Beeswax treatment.
With 100% brass eyelets placed around each side of the canvas poncho, it can even be used as a survival tarp, tent or windbreaker. Press-studs allow you open up the sides for sleeves or join two ponchos together.
Ideal for those who enjoy having a fire while on an overnight hike or camping trip, the durable oilskin finish makes this heavy duty poncho both rain and fire resistant.
Although we’d never refer to anything that doesn’t have plastic as “fully waterproof”, this additional oil treatment on this waxed canvas poncho has been tested to even hold pools of water overnight when being used as a survival tarp.
This is the ultimate canvas poncho that has a quality leather string fitted with a wood toggle for tightening the hood and double stitching on the heavy duty oil and waxed canvas body. When not in use, pack it up into the poncho’s hood.
