This Oilskin Tarp is handmade in Spain using natural materials.
This is the 2.5 x 2.5 m Oilskin Tarp, head here for the original 3×3 version.
The Mountain Brown colour is derived from natural materials, with a Linseed Oil & Wax mixture applied to the 100% Cotton Canvas to increase its durability and make it water proof (water proof for heavy rain, although water would still penetrate the Canvas if submerged).
Waxed Canvas is already an extremely durable material (relative to use), the Oil formula further enhances this.
Bush Craft Spain produce canvas oilskin tarps with longevity in mind with the hopes that the one your purchase will be maintained and used for a lifetime of shelter when heading out bush, then passed down to future generations for even more exploration.
Every part of the oilskin tarp is tough, durable and completely biodegradable other than the Bushcraft Spain Polyester label, the WAY&FARER label is leather.
