Victorian Beeswax Wraps
Product Eco Rating
These Beeswax Wraps are plastic-free, made out of natural materials in Victoria, Australia.
Each wrap has a Cotton fabric as the base, then is hand-coated with Beeswax that’s straight from hives in country Victoria. Pine Resin & Jojoba oil is applied by hand to the Beeswax wraps, which improves the durability and quality.
Conventional Cotton, as opposed to Organic Cotton has been used for the base layer, which reduces the cost and increases the affordability of this product, making it more likely to be used, compared to a plastic alternative. Conventional Cotton does use pesticides and fertilisers when being grown, other chemicals are then used throughout the harvesting and manufacturing process, such as to remove leaves from the Cotton, instead of being done with a natural process.
If maintained and treated, these Beeswax wraps are very durable and can be reused many times, making them a brilliant alternative to cling wrap or other plastic versions, which is what makes these wraps an environmentally friendly choice.
These Beeswax Wraps are 100% biodegradable.
