The One For Life bottle is considered eco-friendly as it’s completely reusable and recyclable, helping to reduce the catastrophic amount of plastic bottles that are ending up in landfill, the Ocean and just about everywhere else in nature.
Manufacturing Glass isn’t great for the environment, although once it’s made, it’s completely recyclable, infinitely. If the Glass isn’t recycled and incorrectly disposed of, it doesn’t leach toxins into the environment.

Sustainability of Glass
Glass isn’t very durable in regards to handling knocks, it does tend to break if isn’t handled with care, although otherwise it can last for an extremely long time, then it’s completely recyclable. In the case of the One For Life bottles, the shape and design increases the Glass’s strength and overall durability rating.
The manufacturing process for Glass bottles has improved in recent years, in regards to its environmental impact, although it does still give off some CO2 emissions, create other toxic fumes and the melting furnace does require a lot of energy to operate. Although most Glass products are not recycled, the ones that are almost always get turned into a new Glass product and this does help to reduce the overall negative impact of the Glass manufacturing industry.
Even if this Glass bottle isn’t disposed of correctly and don’t end up in landfill, it won’t have a negative impact on the soil or water that it touches as Glass is stable and doesn’t release toxins. This also applies to your drink. The Yulex® lid will completely decompose as it’s made of 100% biodegradable natural rubber.
